Priya is the UK Well-being Lead for a FTSE 100 company. She is a Qualified Life Coach and Well-being Coach, trained through Raw Horizon Academy; Accredited by The Association for Coaching & NHS. She is passionate about Well-being and Personal Development and runs workshops for organisations on a range of topics such as Mindfulness and Banishing Limiting Beliefs, she is a specialist in running Live Guided Mindfulness sessions as well as providing transformational one on one Life Coaching.  Priya is delighted to have recently partnered with Mindhug as one of their Mindfulness practioners to extend her reach to more people and help support them with their well-being.

Introduction to Mindfulness workshop:

Learn the basics of what Mindfulness is and how practising Mindfulness can help enhance your life in all areas. Learn simple techniques to practice Mindfulness. The workshop is interactive and includes short live group practices.

  • Duration: 60-90 mins

Banishing limiting Beliefs workshop:

An introduction to how the mind works, including the power of the subconscious mind. Learn how we form beliefs and how they help to shape our view on life and impact our performance. Learn simple techniques to overcome beliefs that limit you and replace them with empowering beliefs. Interactive session includes a practical exercise.

  • Duration: 60-90 mins

Live guided Mindfulness sessions:

Packages of 15-20 minute easily accessible sessions. Includes a brief introduction to Mindfulness, followed by a guided Mindfulness practice. The practices range from Body scans to visualisation practices to Compassionate Breathing and Eliminating Loneliness.

IIL Guided Mindfulness Practice Series: Wednesday 12 May – Wednesday 30 June 2021

“The weekly two-month Guided Mindfulness series Priya hosted for members has been a highlight of the Insurance Institute of London’s Wellbeing Programme.

Priya radiates calmness and positivity which put members at ease straight away making the sessions accessible to everyone whether they were a novice or regularly practiced Mindfulness.

Over the course of eight weeks, Priya demonstrated the vast array of benefits from regularly practicing Mindfulness and how it can help in all areas of life. Each week Priya led members through a different practice including Body Scan’s, Breath & Body, Mindfulness of Breathing, and Gratitude. Importantly, she also equipped members with tools and techniques they can regularly access and practice in everyday life.

Member feedback was extremely positive, they praised Priya’s approachable manner, how she made the sessions enjoyable and easy to follow, and the multitude of benefits they had experienced from attending the sessions.

Personally, I found the sessions invaluable amongst a busy life and Mindfulness exercises have now become a regular part of my routine.

Priya is a wonderful advocate for Mindfulness, and it was a pleasure to work with her on this series of events.

I hope to incorporate more Mindfulness sessions into the IIL Wellbeing Programme, and I look forward to working with her again in the future!”
